It’s Summer, Summertime is here. Yes it’s Summer, my time of year. Remember that song from 1976? Here’s the song on YouTube … http://youtu.be/-MyH1TcqAhI
Space.com has a story about the new full moon set to take place this Sunday. Called a “supermoon”, the moon will reach perigee — the closest point to Earth all year in it’s orbit around the planet. NASA planetary geologist Noah Petro said that while the tides might be slightly higher because of the moon’s close approach, it won’t make a noticeable difference for the average observer. The only thing that humans might experience this weekend is a good lunar show. Two thumbs up! http://www.space.com/21662-supermoon-full-moon-nasa-fear.html

Until recently, the program owned by Facebook, Instagram, really didn’t hold my fascination. After all, it was just another photo sharing program (basically) in a sea of like-minded services. But hold that thought. This week, they announced the new feature added to the application that allows one to take a 15 second video, make edits on the fly, choose from 16 different filters, title it, and send it to no fewer than half a dozen social sites. It’s better than Twitter’s Vine and it’s easy to use. Available on the Google Play and Apple Stores. Here’s a brief video story … http://youtu.be/sR2wYqFMxEo

A man was asked about the gas mileage he got on his new car.
He said he thought he got about four miles to the gallon, while his teenage son got the other thirty.
(thanks, John and welcome to parenting teenagers)
The husband had an annoying habit of searching through the refrigerator for a snack, usually while his wife was preparing a meal.
Once, after he had gone through this routine for the third time in as many minutes, she snapped, “Nothing’s any different than it was a minute ago.”
“I know that,” he assured her. “It’s just that this time I’ve lowered my standards.”
Have a great weekend friends, and until next weekend, may God bless you and keep you safe.
