Hi-ya Friends!

Twice this week I was engaged in the subject of WIFI distribution. That is, the use of routers to provide an Internet connection for users. While one of those instances we settled on the idea of having access points throughout the building, the other was clearly on-point to this article I came across this week giving 10 ways to improve the speed of a router. If you have thought you should be getting better download speeds from your provider, it could be the router you’re using. See if this from Bryan Clark is a help … http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/10-ways-to-improve-the-speed-of-your-current-router/

Taking Internet connectibility to the much higher level, the name Elon Musk is synonymous with SpaceX which has been in the news with rockets blasting to the space station, and some that just blasted. But it’s SpaceX that Google and Fidelity Investments has begun a working relationship to build thousands of satellites that, once put in orbit, will provide Internet services around the world. Of course something like this requires the Federal Communications Commission OK, so Elon Musk has filed with them. According to the filing, testing could begin next year. http://nextbigfuture.com/2015/06/spacex-files-with-fcc-to-begin-testing.html

I am impressed and enjoyed learning about the event when I couldn’t be there. Among the things announced, Apple Music and IOS 9. Spend a few minutes and, enjoy … http://www.apple.com/live/2015-june-event/

Finally in this week’s WebLetter a website to help you choose one answer from another. In football, the ref flips a coin. But if you’re like me, you don’t carry around spare change. Matter of fact, I could make an argument for the use of coins at all. With new technology, why not just swipe your card or phone to make your purchase? But I digress. The emphasis and the only thing this website does is, flip a virtual coin. That’s it. But, when you need to make a decision and you have no change in your pocket, click … http://justflipacoin.com/
